Organ Donation Campaign at Jogomaya Devi College

On 15^th September 2017, The Times of India, and Anthyesti Foundation organized an organ donation event at Jogomaya Devi College, Kolkata, West Bengal.

The session was conducted to promote the cause of organ donation by Anthyesti foundation and The Times of India, the event was organized for more than 120 students.

The Time of India is partnering with the Anthyesti foundation to take forward the cause of organ donation. At Jogomaya Devi College, the Anthyesti foundation has taken the initiative for creating awareness about organ donation by explaining the detailed information regarding Organ Donation and Transplantation – concepts, types, myths — Organ Donation scenario in India – state wise initiatives, government bodies, and NGOs.

Through this organ donation event, the Anthyesti foundation and The Times of India have changed the minds of young people who attended the event, creating awareness about organ donation in students is necessary step in India. Creating organ donation awareness in students will more effective when compare to adults.
