Panel Discussion about Organ Donation Event with Eminent Doctors

On 19th September 2017, The Times of India, and Anthyesti Foundation organized a panel discussion about organ donation event with Eminent doctors from Kolkata and surgeons from Mumbai.

The panel discussion was organized to promote the cause of organ donation by Anthyesti foundation and The Times of India, the panel has more than 15 doctors and surgeons from Mumbai and Kolkata.

The Time of India is partnering with the Anthyesti foundation to take forward the cause of organ donation. The panel discussion was organized for understanding the importance of organ donation and also how we can improve the ration of organ donors in India. Doctors and surgeons share their opinions and suggestion on organ donation campaigns.

In the panel discussion, the Anthyesti foundation has taken the initiative for explaining to them how we are organizing the campaign with key points about the topics such as creating awareness about organ donation by explaining the detailed information regarding Organ Donation and Transplantation – concepts, types, myths — Organ Donation scenario in India – state wise initiatives, government bodies, and NGOs.

Through this panel discussion, the Anthyesti foundation has come up with a new set of strategies and creative ideas for organizing organ donation events and also the doctors and surgeons are also impressed with the Anthyesti foundation work, they also showed interest towards participating in upcoming organ donation events.
